Low Stress Steel Stamps
Low-stress steel stamps form each character from a series of dots rather than continuous lines.
The force is spread out and stress concentration on the material is much lower, so you can mark thin parts, spring steel, tubing and fatigue-sensitive workpieces while reducing the risk of cracks and distortion — a marking method common in aerospace, springs and thin-wall parts.
Dots replace continuous lines, spreading stamping stress and reducing micro-cracks and distortion.
Round dots give a rounder, softer impression; sharp dots stamp deeper with higher contrast — choose to suit your needs.
Ideal for spring steel, thin plate, tubing and other parts that cannot take high stress.
