YC702 Automatic Center Punch
The YC702 automatic center punch has a built-in spring mechanism — press down with one hand and it releases an automatic strike, marking a clear, consistent center point without a hammer. A locating start for drilling that keeps the bit from wandering, for repeatable, accurate holes.
Suitable use: For center-locating before drilling metal, wood or plastic — widely used in metalwork, woodwork, mold making, maintenance and DIY.
Core Features
A built-in spring triggers the strike with a one-handed press, marking an even locating point — no hammer needed, and reusable.
The spring is housed in the handle, storing and releasing force for easy, low-effort repeated use.
A brass body for a quality feel and rust resistance, with an S2 alloy-steel striking tip that is hard and wear-resistant.
A knurled handle for a firm, non-slip hold and smooth one-handed operation.
